| PACPace | How fast you cover ground during a match |
| SHOShooting | Your attacking and goalscoring contribution |

| DEFDefence | Defensive actions, tackles, positioning |
| PHYPhysical | Fitness, strength, and showing up ready |

Your card is created by your community admin with an initial position and stats. After that, it evolves automatically after every match — you don't need to do anything.
A community is your football group — the place where matches happen and players get rated. All your stats and card evolution are scoped to the communities you belong to.

Match lifecycle
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| 🔵 Scheduled | Match created by admin, not started yet |
| 🟢 Live | Match in progress — timer counts down to when rating opens |
| ⭐ Rate now | Match ended — rating window is open, you can rate teammates |
| ⬜ Closed | All ratings submitted, player cards are being updated |
| ✅ Done | Match archived — all stats are final and saved |
The rating window stays open for 24 hours after the match ends, or until your admin manually closes it — whichever comes first.
After every match you rate the players on your side only — not opponents. Each teammate is scored across 4 dimensions on a 1–5 star scale.
⚡ Impact
“Did they make a real difference in the game?”
💪 Effort
“How hard did they work throughout the match?”
🎯 Skill
“How technically good were they on the ball?”
⏰ Punctuality
“Did they arrive at the pitch on time and ready?”
How to rate step by step
A green banner appears on your Dashboard and Community page when rating is open
Tap Rate now → you enter the rating screen
At the top, a teammate picker shows all your teammates. Green = current, ✓ = already rated, dashed = not yet rated
Set a score (1–5) for all 4 dimensions for the current teammate
Tap Next teammate to move on
After the last teammate, tap Submit
You see a ✅ confirmation screen
✏️ Editing a submitted rating
Changed your mind? As long as the rating window is still open:
Fairness protection: If 4 or more players rate you, the single highest and lowest scores are automatically dropped before calculating your average. This removes outlier bias.

After every match, the app runs a 6-step process to update your card. Here's exactly what happens under the hood.
Collect ratings
All scores your teammates submitted for you in this match are gathered.
Trimmed mean
If you received 4 or more ratings, the single highest and lowest are dropped before averaging. This removes outlier bias.
Map to stats
Your average Impact, Effort, Skill and Punctuality scores are mapped to PAC/SHO/PAS/DRI/DEF/PHY based on your position.
Blend with EMA
New stats are blended with your existing card: 85% current + 15% new. One bad match won't ruin your card.
Compute Overall & Tier
Each position weights the 6 stats differently to produce an Overall. Overall determines your Tier (BRONZE → LEGEND).
Snapshot saved
A snapshot of your card is saved after each match. You can see the full history on your profile page.
EMA formula (why your card evolves gradually)
new_stat = (0.85 × current_stat) + (0.15 × this_match_stat)This means a single great or terrible match has limited impact. Your card reflects consistent performance over time.
Position weight matrix
Each position weights the 6 stats differently when computing Overall. Higher % = that stat matters more for your role.
| Position | PAC | SHO | PAS | DRI | DEF | PHY |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| GK | 10% | 5% | 10% | 5% | 25% | 45% |
